Light Collection
Light has always been God's language of hope, presence, and redemption.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Light is one of the first images God gives us in Scripture. Before the mountains, oceans, or stars were formed, He spoke into the darkness and said, "Let there be light." From that moment forward, light becomes a thread woven throughout the entire biblical story—a symbol of God's presence, His truth, His guidance, and His life.
Jesus stepped into that story and declared, "I am the Light of the world." In Him, the promises of the Old Testament find their fulfillment. He is the light that shines in the darkness, the lamp that guides our steps, the Shepherd who leads His people, and the Lamb whose glory will illuminate the New Creation forever.
The paintings in this collection explore these themes through moments both simple and profound: a flickering oil lamp, the quiet confidence of Psalm 27, the radiant hope of John's Gospel, and the breathtaking promise that one day "the Lamb will be its lamp." Together they invite us to slow down, to notice the ways God continues to illuminate our path, and to fix our eyes on the One in whom there is no darkness at all.
May these paintings encourage you to trust His leading, rest in His presence, and remember that even the smallest light bears witness to the One who has overcome the darkness.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
