Good Shepherd
In John chapter 10, Jesus says He is the Good Shepherd and that a good Shepherd knows His sheep. Not only does He know them, but He lays down His life for them. How valuable the sheep must be to the Shepherd, that He would lay His life down for them! I think so often, I miss that part because I'm only focused on His goodness. So much so, I forget the incredible value He places on us through this love and sacrifice.

His greatest command was to follow Him in these ways of love. To love others as we have received it by Him. This image feels like an invitation to walk in the footsteps of the Good Shepherd.
