Adam and Eve were part of a series I was working on as I explored the stories in Genesis in my early painting career. I wanted to bring this to life in a classical way while placing it in a modern context.  This painting was influence by the art of iconography with western realism. 
 
I wanted to sit in the moment of temptation with Eve, before she took a bite from the fruit, and let her eyes meet ours connecting her story with our own story.
