Walk with Me: Painting VI
Walk with me, magnificent majesty. Fix your thoughts on me. I am your protector with a terrible tender love. I am a refuge and a fortress that you can trust in. Through faith and worship, through prayer and drawing near, will you trust me with your heart?
I am a wonderful counselor who listens to your prayers, wishes and dreams. Yes, draw near and let me protect all you hold dear.
I am always with you, holding you by my right hand. Keep your eyes on me and you will not be shaken. For I bring peace on earth and good will toward men. I am close. Your flesh and heart may fail but I am the strength of your heart and your portion forever. I have come to wipe every tear from your eye.
Look into my eyes. Can you see the depth of my intense love for you. This is Calvary. I long for your heart and wait for you to return to me. I am present in all things. Encounter me through one another; emulate my glory through your love. Be a reflection of me, the Alpha and Omega, into the world. Be face to face with the King and mirror my heart into all of creation. Thy Kingdom come.
I am the Ancient of Days, your redeemer and warrior. Come up close and personal as I give you my steadfast love. It never ends. Nor do my mercies that renew each day. Great is my faithfulness and strength. You’re almighty King, Prince of Peace. Be still and know and simply be.
Note from the artist:
When I finished each painting in this series I invited you all to share your title suggestions, thoughts or verses that came to mind. I was so moved by each one I felt that they all needed to be included into a collaborative title somehow. I’ve taken all of your words and put them together to convey the fullest expression of each work. Thank you for being a part of the words that flow through this series. I hope that this becomes an ongoing prayer and a blessing for you as you walk with Him.
