A portrait captures the nature of the one being portrayed. In this image I wanted to focus on or frame up an expression of the Father with His arms wide open.
This is the nature of the One whose love is unchanging, it doesn't waver and it's not based on performance or works.
I've been looking for a title for this painting since its completion and the other morning during some prayer time, I was reminded of how there is nothing God won't do for us to show His love. And with that, the words formed up that He is in endless pursuit of us. As I wrote this down and my pen skirted across the paper with these thoughts, I knew that it was the title I had been looking for.
As the year comes to an end, my prayer is that you will come to experience His endless pursuit of your heart and His everlasting arms. Happy New Year to you all.
